About the Coalition
For over 20 years, the San Diego County Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition has helped low- to moderate-income San Diego families do their taxes and maximize their refund. The Coalition is made up of almost 40 well-trusted, collaborative organizations throughout San Diego County. Together, these organizations implement critical and complimentary services, including free tax filing assistance, technical assistance for self-filing, and outreach & education.
San Diego families and individuals making $60,000 or less.
Receiving these tax credits can reduce what you owe or increase your tax refund. More money back in your pocket means funds for:
Rent, utilities, gas, and groceries
Auto and home repairs
Doctors’ appointments
School supplies and clothing
For individuals, the last day to file your 2022 taxes without an extension is April 18, 2023. The sooner you file, the better! Beat the rush and let our expert preparers help you file.
If you don’t need help filing your taxes, you can still file online at no cost, if you qualify, by going to myfreetaxes.org.
