Palomar Health is the largest public health-care district in California with an 800-square-mile service area- one of the seven largest in the United States – and home to North County’s only designated trauma center covering 2,200 square miles.

From 2018-2021, cThru Media successfully managed all digital media buying and campaign strategy for Palomar Health. We provided a comprehensive digital marketing campaign to help Palomar Health be seen as the health care leader they are and to be considered for consumers looking for a new health care provider.

Strategy

Our work in healthcare for Palomar Health led us to incorporate direct-to-patient digital marketing strategies utilizing branding and call-to-action creative to drive and improve the overall patient experience with the hospital, its website, and customer service call center.

We worked closely with the client team to provide landing page recommendations to assist site performance and ongoing A/B Testing of creative. We used these learnings to inform future creative.

Campaign optimization (bid, audience, and placement adjustments) to ensure brand is being showing to the right person at the right time.

Results

Our marketing efforts over the span of 5 years specifically led to an increase in doctor appointments, web traffic, branded search results, brand recognition and recall, video views, and social engagement.

These results were measured by significantly increased clicks, clickthrough rates, site sessions, view duration, and impressions.
