What You'll Need

  • Photo ID
  • Social Security Card or ITIN for yourself and any dependents
  • Income documents including any W2s or 1099s
  • Bank account information for direct deposit
  • School tuition or student loan interest statements
  • Dates of health coverage for yourself and any dependents

  • Call 2-1-1 to see if you qualify and to make an appointment.
  • In-person and virtual online tax assistance is available.
  • Tax preparation services are available in multiple languages

About the Coalition

For over 20 years, the San Diego County Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition has helped low- to moderate-income San Diego families do their taxes and maximize their refund. The Coalition is made up of almost 40 well-trusted, collaborative organizations throughout San Diego County. Together, these organizations implement critical and complimentary services, including free tax filing assistance, technical assistance for self-filing, and outreach & education.
